This is the Fanlistings Network approved fanlisting for the TV series Stargate SG-1. According to TFL, a fanlisting is "a web clique that lists fans of a particular subject. Unlike most web cliques, a person does not need a web site in order to join. Fans from around the world submit their information to their approved fanlisting and they are then listed to show their love for the subject."

Stargate SG-1 is one of my favorite TV series of all time. I've been a fan for over eight years, and I've helped convert many people to the show. I loved the Stargate movie when I was little, so I was excited to learn that there was a TV series based on it. (Unfortunately, I didn't learn about it until Season 5 since I didn't have Showtime, where the series originated.) I love Stargate SG-1 because it's a fun show that has a lot of humor; great, quirky characters; and generally entertaining or amusing adventures. That it lasted for ten seasons, becoming the longest-running American science fiction show on television, and led to two further TV spin-off shows, is a testament to its broad and widespread popularity.

The site name comes from the fact that Stargate addresses require seven chevrons (barring the eighth chevron for travel to outer galaxies and whatever ninth chevron SGU has). The current layout features a promotional image of the original SG-1 - Teal'c, Sam, Jack, and Daniel - from Season 7 or 8.
